For hygiene reasons each class participant is required to bring their own Pilates mat (these are thicker than a yoga mat for increased support). I also recommend a small cushion or hand towel that can be folded and used as a head support, alternatively you can buy a small yoga block for head support.
Light comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. Footwear is not required, you can wear socks or bare feet.
Grip socks are ideal to increase grip when doing standing exercises.
Solihull Physio-Pilates is accessible for all abilities. A variety of levels will be taught for every exercise and we always encourage people to work at their own level, in addition the physiotherapist instructor will modify exercises for you as required during the class.
If you have any pre-existing injuries or conditions we recommend a health assessment prior to starting the classes to provide individualised exercises and support.
The classes are currently on Wednesday evenings only.
